“My wife is a signed writer to Pulse, the publishing company, and her and I are a nice one-two punch when it comes to getting into the studio. She does amazing top line work, and she has an artist project as well, but she doesn't really do it anymore. She takes more of her time and energy to focus on writing for others.”
“I've been finding it way more rewarding lately to put my talents and my passion into producing for other people, which is very rewarding, definitely humbling.”
“You have to ride the fine line between being somebody's friend and being like, ‘Hey, we can't just exchange services for free anymore’.”
“We try to be good people who work off of handshakes. I still believe in that. I still believe in … I'm a good, honest working, hard-working person and we can do this together, just know, it's going to be this at the end.”
“I just wanted to record some songs, thinking I could change the world as a singer, songwriter with one EP.”
“As artists in a world of social media where we're always kind of comparing ourselves to the next person and trying to figure things out, I think you're my favorite person in the world if you put something that we put our energy into actually under the world.”
“I'm not necessarily trying to monetize off of my music because … it's just what I need to do for a creative outlet for myself.”
“I don't ever think that AI will truly take over the music industry… I think it could be used as a tool in order to level up your music.”
“I think we get so caught up in trying to figure out what the best possible course and plan is in this thing that we call the music industry and being able to monetize and being successful and be able to have a career where we can pay our rents and our car bills and feed our families strictly from our passion. I think that when you have the right intention there's always something that happens that will elevate you to the next level. You just have to genuinely put a hundred (percent) into it.”
“I genuinely believe every song that I put out is going to change the world and the thing is, is you changing the world can be changing one person's perspective who can go out and based off of the way that they feel that day from listening to your song … they can go out and cure cancer.”
