Notable Guest Quotes

"I'm a cheesy person, so, you really can take lemons and make lemonade and I think that's kind of what my entire life is, is trying to take a bad situation and make it better."

"I started actually working on it in early 2016.  I met Adrian Gurvitz, who was my record producer on it, and Adrian's amazing.  I mean, he's won a lot of GRAMMYs.  And, the year I started working with him he was up for a GRAMMY... And I met Adrian through a series of coincidental events."

"I always knew that if I went into music seriously, I would want 100 percent of my profits to go to charity."

"It was a really interesting experience... He got together the best band ever.  He assembled the best writing team... It was a world class album, and it took us two years to write and record because I was on 'Days of Our Lives' at the time.  And we just really took our time with it."

"I held onto it for two years.  I didn't release it because I just wanted to really zero in on what my goal was for the album."

"I learned a lot about the music industry.  We all have views or horror stories we've heard about Hollywood and the way it works, and a lot of them are true, unfortunately.  And I find that the music industry is much more insidious than the acting world even."

"I had the opportunity to go with a label, which would've been amazing, on the surface.  But, for me, I had to really put into perspective, where am I in life... And, when you sign yourself away to a music label, while that's a life some people want... I just kind of was like, I don't want to do that and so I was like, all I want to do is have my music be music that gives."

"I had to really shift my perspective once I learned more and more about how the music industry actually works, and was like, that's not what I want.  What I want to do at the end of the day is provide amazing, quality, uplifting music that actually gives back to the community."

"I'm pretty stage fright.  Like, the idea of doing a concert to me is exciting because I love people and I love the message that you can bring during a concert, but at the same time absolutely terrifying."

"I think hard work, kindness, and gratitude will get you wherever you want to go."

"I will outwork the smartest person, and then I'll be kind on my way up."

"I think every single person is artistic and every single person is creative, and I think it's absolutely ridiculous for humans to put us in finite boxes... Just because you're a singer doesn't also mean that you can not be a painter and a potter and a gardener."

"The reality is it's completely full.  Life is what you make it.  And you need to have perspective always.  And you can always make the world a better place.  No small act of kindness is too small or insignificant.  Everything has a ripple effect."
