Hope Darling Band on-stage

Hope Darling, a rock band based in the greater Tampa Bay area, is the newest Now Hear This client, it was announced today.  NHT President Bruce Wawrzyniak had high praise for the group, which was originally formed back in 2011.

“This is a really exciting addition,” he said.  “I stick by my long-standing mantra that Now Hear This will only take on and work with clients that I believe in, and Hope Darling is the latest example of that.  These guys not only have a great sound that really resonated with me when I first heard their music, but they’ve accomplished a lot and there’s definitely more to come.  I’m very grateful for the opportunity to work with the band going forward.”

Currently in the studio finishing up a five-song EP that they plan to release either late spring or early summer (2021), Hope Darling had a song placed in Spike Lee’s “She Gotta Have It” series on Netflix.  Last year they were a winning finalist for the Jack Daniels and iHeartRadio National Battle of the Bands.  Hope Darling also has performed at South By Southwest (March 2019), plus, submitted two of their original songs to the 2020 For Your Consideration campaign for the GRAMMYs.  They were also nominated (for Alternative Rock Song) in 2019 for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

Gabriel Sanchez, who is the band’s founder as well as the lead singer and primary songwriter, said, “After speaking with Bruce we knew right away that his dedication, professionalism, and commitment would help steer Hope Darling.  Together with Bruce and Now Hear This, Hope Darling will be catapulted to new heights with our band and our music.”

In addition to the above, Hope Darling’s success also includes a nomination by Touchtunes as a national breakout band.  As a result, their music can be heard on any Touchtunes jukebox around the country.  Plus, Sanchez was a winning finalist in the Rock category for the song “Lifeline” in last year’s John Lennon Songwriting Competition.

Hope Darling’s music is available anywhere music can be downloaded or streamed.  Find more about the band – including links to their social media platforms – on the band’s official website at www.HopeDarling.com.
