A Canadian singer/songwriter who has put out seven albums and says that #8 is “in the works.” She performed last year in the UK, has earned several honors, and tells how and why she’s making her videos in Mexico. Kelly also talks about having overcome what was diagnosed as life-threatening cancer that developed following a car accident.
“Somebody online got a hold of that (Thank You) note and… somebody from Nashville phoned me in my home and said, ‘This note has song-like qualities in there’ and asked me if I had a journal and they went through my journal and when they went through my journal they were, like, ‘This is like a song, this is like a song’ and then from there it just quickened me and it just seemed to give me new life.”
